Changes in the U.S. Population: Implications for Franchising?

A recent article in a Wall Street Journal Report the CEO Council entitled "Meet a New Electorate" includes some interesting statistics on impending changes in the U.S. population. Some of the highlights: - The U.S. population will grow 20% over the next 30 years with non-Hispanic whites becoming a minority
- Hispanics will represent 25.3 % of the population
- Asians will grow from 5.5% to 6.2% of the population
- African Americans will increase slightly from 13.2% to 13.9 % of the population.
