Strong Demand Continues in Brazil: Good News for Franchising
Posted by

In its Weekly Economic Report entitled The Growing Supply of Demand, San Paulo based Bradesco Corretora BBI Research reports:  "In 2011, global GDP rose 3.8%, while advanced economies fared much worse, posting only a 1.6% expansion. The Brazilian rate of growth was 4.1%. Not GDP growth, it is true. Instead, this was the rate of expansion posted by private consumption. This suggests that despite lackluster GDP growth (2.7%) last year, Brazil remains a land of fast growing demand. We maintain our 2.6%GDP growth forecast for 2012."

With Brazil hosting the World Cup in 2014 and the 2016 Summer Olympics this analysis confirms once again that Brazil is an outstanding destination for franchisors looking to export their concept. To access the complete report click here.
