Chipotle Mexican Grill New Concept: ShopHouse Southeast Asian Kitchen

This article from Fortune cites the launch of a new restaurant concept by Chipotle Mexican Grill Inc. The new ShopHouse Southeast Asian Kitchen opened for business on September 15th in Dupont Circle in Washington DC. The food will include a blend of Thai, Vietnamese, and Malaysian cuisine. Customers can sit down and eat after moving through a cafeteria style line. Take out services are also available. Chipotle Mexican Grill Inc., is a national leader in fast-casual cuisine and ranked number 54 on Fortune's 2011 list of the 100 Fastest-Growing Companies. The launch of this new fast food concept reflects the feeling of many that asian concepts will increase in popularity. Franchise operated restaurants represent 67% of all locations.
