As Facebook, Twitter and similar social media sites continue to grow and become more pervasive it's critical that franchisors take the proper steps to protect their brand, Given the ease by which news and information can be generated via social media sites and the Internet an allegation or rumor can travel at a high rate of speed, Damage to a brand name could be difficult to repair.
