Home Care Franchises Offer a Great Opportunity

One of the fastest growing franchise sectors is in providing homecare services for seniors and this sector shows little signs of slowing down. The growth in homecare franchises has grown to over 3,000 franchises, Moreover,the rate of growth in the home care sector has been among the highest in the franchise industry over the past several years,

The most significant attribute of this industry is the projected growth in the size of the market.

Population Projections from U.S. Census Bureau

·         The number of people in the U.S. over 65 years of age will grow from 40 million to 47 million an increase of 16.5%. More homeowners will be over 65.

 

·         The percent of the population of those 65 and older will go from 13% to 14.4%

 

·         By 2015-1 in 7 people in the U.S. will be 65 or older.

 

If the franchise program meets your expectations and your franchisor due dilligence is

 

positive, then a home care franchise can represent a good opportunity.
