Over the course of his career Ed has been involved with over 1,000 franchise locations and has transacted international licensing in Europe, Asia and South America.
Ed is the author of Franchising From The Inside Out. His articles and interviews have appeared in numerous publications and media. He has spoken before various groups including: the International Franchise Association, the International Franchise Expo and the Chinese Franchise Association in Shanghai, China. He has participated in the CEO Magazine Roundtable Meetings with business leaders from around the country.

An internationally recognized small business expert an Internet entrepreneur, Janet has more than 20 years of experience developing popular online sites. .She is the author of two widely praised books: Business Know-How: An Operational Guide For Home-Based and Micro-Sized Businesses with Limited Budgets and The Home Office and Small Business Answer Book, and has several other published books to her credit. She has also written for newspapers and magazines, and is, herself, frequently interviewed by the press. She has been an invited speaker and panelist at a number of small business conferences.
Alan Someck has over 30 years of hospitality leadership experience as an operator, consultant and franchise expert. Alan operated 2 high volume very successful New York restaurants for over 25 years. His consulting expertise covers all aspects of starting up a restaurant including concept development, financing, site selection, staff training and marketing strategies. He has created food and beverage training programs for the New York State Restaurant Association and has written numerous articles on hospitality and management strategies. Alan is an instructor at the Institute for Culinary Education where he teaches an intensive 6 month hospitality management course.
